John Dennis
Fouse
Jul 13, 1958 — Sep 6, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of John Dennis Fouse, born on July 13, 1958, in Sulphur Springs, Texas. John left us on September 6, 2026. Residing in Wink, Texas, John was a hardworking, simple man whose kindness knew no bounds.
John dedicated his career to the oil and gas industry, working for many years as a truck driver and serving as the yard manager at Energy Transfer until his retirement. His work ethic and commitment reflected his character-always striving to do his best and lend a helping hand to those in need. Known for being an all-around good guy, he was a true friend to many, always ready to respond when someone called.
Family was at the center of John's life. He married his loving wife Debra in August 2006 in Lake Wales, Florida. Together, they created a warm, welcoming home filled with love for each other and their cherished pets. John was happiest when surrounded by family, whether watching sports, playing games, or simply enjoying the quiet moments at home.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Debra Fouse of Wink, TX., his mother, Anna Joyce Fouse of Livingston, TX., mother-in-law, Phyllis Wimberly of Lake Wales, FL., sons, Rusty Fouse of Fredericksburg, TX., and David Fouse and wife Brandy of Mt. Vernon, TX., daughter, Shannon Matsinger and husband Stan of Granbury, TX., brothers, Time Fouse and wife Lula, Mark Fouse, and Royce Fouse and wife Janet all of Livingston, TX., along with his grandchildren, Carley, Allyson, Tyrian, Madaline, Jayden, Tori, Chase, and Benton. John leaves behind a legacy of compassion and generosity that will be remembered by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his son, Wesley Fouse.
A celebration of John's life will take place in the coming days, with details to follow. We invite everyone who knew and loved John to join us in honoring his memory and sharing stories of the impact he had on our lives.
