It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Javier Alfredo Lomeli, who left us too soon on April 14, 2026, in Jal, NM., at the age of 27. Born on August 25, 1998, in Odessa, Texas, Javier was a loving father, an amazing son, and brother whose bright spirit touched the lives of everyone around him.

Javier graduated from Kermit High School, class of 2017, proudly carrying forward the legacy of his hometown with hard work and integrity. Known for his loving nature, he was a devoted father to his son, Matthew and daughter, Mariana. His love for them was evident in every part of his life. Javier was also an amazing son and brother, whose kindness and warmth touched the hearts of all who knew him.

He found joy in simple pleasures, such as playing video games and listening to music, activities that brought him peace and happiness amidst the challenges of life. Above all, Javier cherished the time spent with his family, creating memories that will forever remain a source of comfort and strength.

Javier is survived by his girlfriend, Savanna Friar of Odessa, Texas; his parents, Maria Elsa and Isidro Olmedo, his grandmother, Andrea Olmedo, his brothers, Bernardo Almanza and Diego Almanza, and his sister, Abigail Almanza and husband Eduardo Natera, along with his children, Matthew Lomeli and Mariana Lomeli all of Kermit, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ignacia Gonzales, Miguel Diaz, and Juan Almanza.

Javier's passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of his family and all who knew him. His spirit, characterized by love, loyalty, and unwavering dedication, will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of sharing in his life.

Visitation will be held from 1:00PM - 8:00PM, Sunday, April 26,2026 at Kermit Funeral Home. Family and Friends will gather to celebrate his life at 10:00AM, Monday, April 27, 2026, at the Kermit Funeral Home Chapel. He will be laid to rest at the Kermit Cemetery. Con el corazón apesadumbrado, anunciamos el fallecimiento de Javier Alfredo Lomeli, quien nos dejó demasiado pronto el 14 de abril de 2026 en Jal, Nuevo México, a la edad de 27 años. Nacido el 25 de agosto de 1998 en Odessa, Texas, Javier fue un padre amoroso, y un hijo y hermano extraordinario, cuyo espíritu radiante tocó las vidas de todos los que lo rodeaban.

Javier se graduó de la Escuela Preparatoria Kermit (Kermit High School), promoción de 2017, llevando con orgullo el legado de su ciudad natal a través del trabajo arduo y la integridad. Conocido por su naturaleza afectuosa, fue un padre devoto para su hijo, Matthew, y su hija, Mariana. Su amor por ellos era evidente en cada aspecto de su vida. A Javier le sobreviven su novia, Savanna Friar, de Odessa, Texas; sus padres, Maria Elsa e Isidro Olmedo; su abuela, Andrea Olmedo; sus hermanos, Bernardo Almanza y Diego Almanza; y su hermana, Abigail Almanza, junto a su esposo Eduardo Natera; así como sus hijos, Matthew Lomeli y Mariana Lomeli; todos ellos residentes de Kermit, Texas.

Le precedieron en la muerte sus abuelos: Ignacia Gonzales, Miguel Diaz y Juan Almanza.

El fallecimiento de Javier deja un vacío profundo en los corazones de su familia y de todos aquellos que lo conocieron. Su espíritu, caracterizado por el amor, la lealtad y una dedicación inquebrantable, continuará inspirando a quienes tuvieron el privilegio de compartir su vida.

La visita se llevará a cabo de 1:00PM - 8:00 PM, el Domingo, 26 de Abril de 2026, en Kermit Funeral Home. Familiares y amigos se reunirán para celebrar su vida a las 10:00AM, el Lunes, 27 de Abril de 2026, en la Capilla de la Funeraria Kermit. Será enterrado en el cementerio de Kermit.
