Isreal Juarez
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Isreal Juarez, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, who left us peacefully on September 19, 2025, in Midland, Texas at the age of 71. Isreal was born on February 21, 1954, in Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico, to Pedro and Espiranza Juarez.
Isreal was a skilled meat processor known in his community for his exceptional talent in crafting the finest chorizo and asadero. Friends and family often sought his expertise, bringing him their game to process, and he delighted in sharing his craft with the people he loved. A man with an infectious sense of humor, he was a true prankster who brought joy and laughter to those around him. Isreal possessed a remarkable kindness; he could always be counted upon to lend a helping hand to anyone in need, demonstrating the essence of generosity throughout his life. He was known for his ability to connect with everyone he encountered; he could never go anywhere without stopping to talk to someone, always ready to share a smile or a kind word..
In April of 1975, Isreal married the love of his life, Lourdes Juarez, and together they built a beautiful family. Isreal was a devoted father to his daughter, Janeth Olmos, and cherished his role as a grandfather to his grandchildren: Esmeralda, Adaly, Andy, Arezly, and Aretzy Olmos, who brought him immense joy and pride. He loved spending time in his garden, nurturing both plants and cherished family moments.
Isreal is survived by his loving wife Lourdes Juarez; his daughter Janeth Olmos of Midland, TX.; his brother Victor Juarez and wife Rosa of Presidio, TX.; his sisters Nancy Juarez of Odessa, TX. and Leticia Gonzalez and husband Gustavo of Ojinaga, MX.; and his adored grandchildren, who will carry his spirit forward in their hearts.
He was preceded in death by: His parents, Pedro and Espiranza Juarez, and sister, Socorra Juarez
A visitation will be held on September 22, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM at Kermit Funeral Home. Following the visitation, a rosary will be recited starting at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will take place on September 23, 2025, at 10:00 AM at St. Thomas / St. Joseph Catholic Church, with Father Victorino Loresca Jr. Officiaing. He will be laid to rest at the Kermit Cemetery. Pallbearers will include Edmundo Arreola Jr. Gary Arreola, Aly Gonzalez, Gustavo Gonzalez Jr., Edgar Granillo Jr., Alex Granillo, Andy Olmos and Marcos Tavarez. Honorary Pallbearers will include Jose Vizcaino Jr., and Jacob Ledesma. Arrangements are under the personal care of Kermit Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
