Obituary for Danny Guadarrama

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Danny Guadarrama, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend, who left this world on November 9, 2025, at the age of 67. Born on July 29, 1958, in Snyder, Texas, Danny's journey through life was marked by his unwavering love for his family and joy in the simple life.

Danny was a devoted husband to his wife, Bertha Guadarrama, whom he married on May 17, 1985, in Monahans, Texas. Together, they created a loving home filled with warmth and laughter. He found immense joy in spending time with his family and was an enthusiastic mentor and playmate to his grandchildren always ready to share a laugh over a game of cards or a board game.

Danny was a man of many passions. Known for his extraordinary skills in building furniture, he took great pride in every piece he crafted, often gifting them to family and friends. A true lover of Westerns, he could frequently be found enjoying his favorite show.

A man of faith, Danny cherished his time reading the Bible, drawing strength and guidance from its teachings. His beloved pup, Paco, who preceded him in death just a few months prior, held a special place in his heart, symbolizing the love and companionship that characterized his life.

Danny is survived by his wife of 40 years Bertha Guadarrama of Kermit, TX., his daughters, Melissa Sonnier of Kermit, TX., and Jill Gomez and husband Eli of Hobbs, NM., brothers, Mike Guadarrama Jr. and wife Lorena of Midland, TX., and David Guadarrama and partner Scott of Dallas, TX., sisters, Linda Garcia of San Angelo, TX., Marina Underwood and husband Glenn of Wink, TX., and Ruthie Guadarrama and parter Amanda of Dallas, TX., grandchildren, Zach, Nate, Lexie, Preston, Myla, and Audri, along with his great-grandchild, Zayne. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Mike and Michaela Guadarrama, his brother, Rudy Guadarrama, sister, Norma Romero and granddaughter Alyssa Pennington.

Services to celebrate Danny's life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the personal care of Kermit Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Condolences to the family can be made at www.kermitfuneralhome.com
