IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Charles Edward
Vaden Jr.
June 30, 1959 – September 19, 2025
Obituary for Charles Edward Vaden Jr.
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Charles Edward Vaden Jr., who left this world on September 19, 2025, at the age of 66. Born on June 30, 1959, in Kermit, Texas, Charles was a man of warmth, kindness, and resilience. A resident of Northport, Alabama, he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Charles dedicated much of his life to the joys of simple pleasures. He found tranquility and fulfillment working in his yard and being outdoors, embracing the beauty of nature. Charles cherished the time spent with his father in the oil field, where they forged memories that would last a lifetime. His generous spirit was evident in his eagerness to help others, always willing to lend a hand.
He had a special bond with his nieces, Rachel and Andrea Vaden, who brought immeasurable joy to his life. Charles often reminisced about the laughter and love shared during family gatherings, which he held dear to his heart. An endearing quirk of his personality, Charles was known to run his heater even in the summer, as he was not fond of the cold.
Charles will be deeply missed by his brother, Gary Vaden of Northport, Alabama, and all who knew him. His warmth and generosity have left an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to experience his kindness
Charles was preceded in death by: his parents, Charles E. Sr., and Alice Faye Vaden, and brother, Norman Vaden
A graveside service will be held at The Kermit Cemetery on September 24, 2025, at 10:00 am, with Pastor Ed Simmons Officiating. In honoring his memory, we invite those who knew him to share in this moment of remembrance and reflection. Arrangements are under the personal care of Kermit Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Condolences to the family can be made at www.kermitfuneralhome.com
In our hearts, Charles will always remain-the compassionate soul who brightened the lives of many. His legacy of love and generosity will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have known him.
